Care is not our entire focus however, as we realise that caregiving is a small part of a holistic approach to our resident’s wellbeing. We ensure individuals have their social and emotional needs met through a range of daily activity, as well as regular opportunities for our community to come together. These include large events such as our summer circus themed BBQ (the video of which is below), as well as facilitating intimate family dinners for special occasions. We also host informative sessions with and for our local healthcare professionals community, allowing us to stay up to date with the latest legislation, guidance and innovations and ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

Meet the manager
I’m Biju, I graduated as a nurse in India before coming to the UK. In India, the elderly are the most important part of the community. They are to be respected and listened to. I try to bring that ethos to the forefront of our care at Warrengate. We look after incredibly complex clients and we are often able to take residents which other homes couldn't. This really binds our team together. As a manager, I really try and empower my team so they can grow in their roles. I place a lot of importance on good communication and make sure everyone is involved in the direction of the home.

My husband has been in this care home for four years. We as a family are very pleased with the service and the care that he receives. The care home is very good the staff are very kind and polite and wouldn’t want him to live anywhere else.
