Meet the manager
I’m Chelsea, I’ve been working in social care for over 18 years, I have worked in domiciliary care in the community, live-in care, residential and nursing homes, I have worked my way up from a care assistant, to now manager of Durban House. I have previously worked as trainer in social care and believe in developing our staff to be the best they can be. Our team here at Durban House are incredible at what they do, we strive every day to ensure we provide the highest quality care to our residents, putting their wellbeing at the heart of what we do. One of the reasons I chose to work for Kindred Care is the community of support offered, it really is second to none.

Durban House is a pleasant facility with beautiful gardens. The staff are caring and compassionate. I have seen little staff turnover in the four and a half years my mother has lived there. Activities and celebrations take place frequently and are varied and inclusive. The nursing care is very efficient too.
